Shipping Policies & Schedule

Orders typically ship out next business day (Monday-Wednesday), but it may take us a little longer to fulfill your order during busy times/holidays. Once your cookie jars leave our kitchen, you can expect delivery to your doorstep 2-5 business days after your order ships. To ensure our products are delivered fresh and do not get stuck in carrier storages for multiple days, we do not ship Thursday-Sunday or major holidays. Shipping time starts once your order is shipped out. Any orders placed after 12pm on Tuesday will most likely be shipped out the following Monday with freshly baked cookies.

Shipping prices are calculated automatically by shipping carrier at checkout and depend on the weight of your order.

Freshness

Our cookies are baked fresh daily and we do not use any preservatives in our baked goods. Cookies stay fresh sealed in their packaging for up to 14 days after packaging.

Shipping address

We ship to physical addresses only, not to P.O. Box addresses. Please provide a valid street address to ensure successful delivery of your order. Learn more about our shipping policy here.

For the ultimate taste experience, we recommend enjoying our desserts as soon as possible after receipt. Our desserts are made fresh daily. When stored in their sealed packaging our desserts typically retain their freshness for up to 10 days, depending on the specific ingredients and ambient climate conditions. After opening the package, it's still good for 5 days if refrigerated. Our desserts freeze well if you are not able to consume them immediately.

Our cookie jars have a net weight of 9-10oz, generously filled with chunks of our signature cookies, accompanied by a rich cream frosting and topping. The total weight may differ for each flavor as it depends on the cookie, frosting and topping.

For optimal freshness, we recommend keeping your desserts in their original glass jars with the lids closed, stored in the refrigerator and letting them sit for 10min at room temperature before enjoying.

We take food allergies seriously and want to ensure your safety. Our desserts are made in an open kitchen using shared equipment that also processes common allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. While we follow strict protocols to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. In light of this, we strongly advise individuals with severe nut allergies to consult with their healthcare provider for personalized guidance before consuming our desserts.

We're sorry to hear that this batch didn't meet your expectations. Our cookies are carefully crafted to achieve a delightful textural contrast: a crispy exterior giving way to a soft, gooey center. While our bakers adhere to precise baking times and temperatures, there may be instances where a cookie emerges slightly underbaked. Alternatively, it's possible that the cream frosting has contributed to the cookies' moisture level, resulting in a softer texture than expected. At present, our standard menu does not include keto, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, vegan, or kosher dessert options. Due to the open nature of our kitchen, there is a risk of cross-contamination with common allergens. While we do not currently have plans to introduce specialized dietary options, if we were to expand our offerings in the future, we would prioritize maintaining the same high standards of quality and safety that our customers expect from us.

We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality and freshest desserts possible. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds, however, we are committed to addressing any valid concerns regarding the quality, damage, or errors related to your order.

We use ice or specialized cooling packaging when shipping our desserts when needed. Our desserts are securely packed in a shipping box to ensure they arrive at your doorstep in the best possible condition.

We're unable to accommodate requests for specific shipping or delivery dates. Our orders typically ship within 1-2 business days, and the delivery time is approximately 2-3 business days.

If your order is slightly delayed by the carrier but is still arriving within the regular delivery time frame of 2-4 business days, please allow for it to make its journey to you. If it seems as though it will arrive later than the delivery time frame, please contact us through the contact form below and we’ll look into this further for you.

As long as your order has not shipped yet, shoot us an email at hello@chunkycrumbs.co with your order number and request to change the delivery address or cancel, and our team will help. 

Sometimes packages are marked “delivered” prematurely or are misplaced at a neighbor’s house or similar address. Make sure to follow the instructions you can find on our refund policy site if your package doesn’t arrive.
